1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MeritCareers (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Platform is operated by MeritEdTech OÜ, registration number 17298104, registered in Estonia.
2. Description of Service
MeritCareers is an AI-powered career intelligence platform that provides resume analysis, skills assessment, career matching, learning recommendations, and job opportunity discovery. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate insights and recommendations.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload (resumes, profiles, etc.). By uploading content, you grant MeritEdTech OÜ a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services, including AI analysis.
5. AI-Generated Content
Career recommendations, skill assessments, and match scores are generated by AI algorithms and should be considered advisory. They do not constitute professional career counseling, employment guarantees, or financial advice.
6. Job Listings
Job listings displayed on the Platform are sourced from third-party providers and employer submissions. MeritEdTech OÜ does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any job listing. Users apply at their own discretion.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: use automated systems to scrape the Platform, misrepresent their identity, upload harmful content, attempt to reverse-engineer AI systems, or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, AI models, branding, and technology, is the intellectual property of MeritEdTech OÜ. The Merit ecosystem brands (MeritCareers, MeritEduHub, Merit Global Academy, etc.) are trademarks of MeritEdTech OÜ.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeritEdTech OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including but not limited to career decisions made based on AI recommendations.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless EU consumer protection regulations provide otherwise.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
